Updated test render

Here's a snapshot of some updated work on the landscape with a bit of sky composited in. I've added a custom texture to the ground for some more variance and whatnot. Messed around with lighting and decided to go with approximate ambient occlusion to save on render times. The landscape at this point is pretty much complete aside from a few little odds and ends, the next big thing to tackle is getting decent render times with the dog and hawk in the scene.

Landscape test render

Making some good progress on the archeology dig site environment. I've been spending a lot of time getting the lighting and shadows just right, which is definitely paying off.

Had a friend show this to me recently, thought it was pretty relevant to the class and wanted to share it:

Re-introduction to 3D animation

Simple little test animation made on the first day of class after not working in blender for a year, good to be back.
